"WARSFOLK" 2006
There were about 320 participants representing 10 teams from 8 countries at the 2nd festival organised under the honorary patronage of the Marshall of the Mazowieckie Region and the Council and Board of the Wola District of Warsaw. 7 concerts were organised: 3 in the Sowiński Park Amphitheatre and the remaining ones in the Praski Park, Czersk, Kuligów near Radzymin and Olsztyn. Moreover, all participants presented themselves to Warsaw residents in a colourful parade that transformed the Nowy ¦wiat street into place full of music and dance.
On 4th August representatives of the ensembles met with the deputy mayors of the Wola District Mr. Sławomir Potapowicz and Mr. Marek Makuch.
