Beginnings of the ensemble date back to the year 1967, when Wasilij Iwanow creates the choreographic group. Since then the group, under the name of "ROSSIJANA", gradually starts to achieve significant successes.

"ROSSIJANA" is a folk group that raised many generations of Czerniachowsk’s youth. Here, on a Baltic Sea land, the Russian folk art is indispensable, among others to keep the ancestor’s tradition. "ROSSIJANA" consists of more than 70 choreographic performances and more than 200 folk songs. "ROSSIJANA" is a mark of Czerniachowsk. Its creativity inspires in people certainty and pride in their city, as well as their faith in the future.
